As is contained in the title, the authors (Juliani and Knaak) provide “Real Prayers for Real Life” based on the Book of Psalms.  As has been said, if something is experienced in life, it has been experienced in Psalms.  So, this group study is designed with the reality in mind that we all are living out one psalm or another in front of others.

The challenge becomes how do we access what the Psalms offer us and that is to speak in real and needful ways to the God of the Psalms as we are invited to do based on our real and intimate relationship with him.

Unlike many excellent bible studies that provide very good approaches to knowledge and structure, the authors provide knowledge, structure, and, most important, experiential approaches that will continue to grow over time.  This study will enable you to allow the Holy Spirit to guide your prayers by using the Psalms as you are drawn into a deeper relationship by conversing with Scripture and with the Lord.  Group leaders will find that the layout for the focus for each week to be highly deliverable and effective.

Participation in this study is a win-win-win situation.  Leaders and participants both grow in relationship to God and his Word while God enjoys the the fellowship taking place as growth takes place in this special community.
